Grade E shipbuilding Steel Description:
ABS grade E steel is a kind of hot rolled general tensile strength steel. The ABS E grade steel plates have yield strength of 34,100 psi (235 MPa), and ultimate tensile strength of 58,000 - 75,500 psi (400-520 MPa). ABS steels come 4 grades in ordinary-strength steel for shipbuilding and grade E is the highest one of them.

2. The Ultrasonic inspection can be done according to ASTM A435, ASTM A577, ASTM A578, EN10160, SEL072, NFA 04-305, BS5996 standard.
