Specifications

Steel-plastic composite geogrids use high-strength steel wire wrapped into high-strength bands by high-density polyethylene, laid to right angle as plane warp and weft, formed to geosynthetics by ultrasonic welding. According to project needs, the bands tension could be changed through different mesh, diameter, and steel wire quantity.

   Characteristics:
1. Steel-plastic composite geogrids’tensile force is beared by the warp and weft weaving high-strength wires, generate ultra-high tensile modulus under low resilience, the longitudinal and transverse ribs work coordinately, fully play the role of embedded lock.  
2. The steel wires in longitudinal and transverse directions are woven to mesh in warp and weft, outer wrap layer formed in one time, the steel wire and outer wrap layer could work coordinately, destroy elongation is very low(not bigger than 3%). Steel-plastic composite geogrids’ main force units is the steel wire, creep volume is very low.
3. Through the plastic surface treatment in production, pressd with rough pattern, to enhance grid surface’s roughness, increase the friction coefficient between steel-plastic composite geogrids and soils.      
4. The width could reach 6m, achieving efficient and economical reinforcement effect
5. The high-density polyethylene used in steel-plastic composite geogrids could assure: it won’t be corroded by acid, alkali and salt solution or oil under ordinary temperature; won’t be damaged by Water-soluble or micro-organisms. Meanwhile, the macromolecule property of polyethylene is enough to resist the aging caused by UV radiation.
Applications: can be used in roads, railways, embankments, abutments, construction of access roads, piers, revetments, levees, dams, beach management, freight yard, residue field, airports, sports, environmental buildings, reinforcement of soft soil, retaining walls, slope protection and road resistance etc geo projects.
Features:
1. High strength, small creep, suitable for various kinds of soil.
2. Effectively increase the embedded locks effect of reinforced bearing surface, enhance the foundation bearing capacity and stability greatly.
