General Description
1. YZR.YZ Series motors for crane and metallurgical uses, featured with large overload capacity and adequate mechanical strength, are specially suitable for driving various types of crane and metallurgical machineries or other similar equipment.
YZR series motors are of wound rotors type, while YZ series motors are of squirrel cage type.
2. The crane electric motor will operate satisfactory under following conditions:
(1). Ambient temperature not exceeding 40 centidegree (for crane uses).
(2). Not above sea-level 1000m.
(3). Frequent and significant mechanical vibration and shocks.
(4). Frequent starting, braking (electrical or mechanical ) or reversing.
3. The rated frequency of the motor is 50Hz and rated voltage is 380V.
4. Connection: The stator winding is connected in Y for 132KW and below and in for the rest. In Y with zero lead is also supplied.

6. Output and speed
The range of rated output and asynchronous speed for the basic duty type (S3-40%) are shown in table 1.
7. For YZ series crane electric motor, when working with basic duty type the guaranteed values of the ratio of the maximum torque and the locked rotor torque to the rated torque under rated voltage are given in table 2.
8. For the YZR series crane electric motor, when working with basic duty type, the guaranteed values of the ratio of the maximum torque to the rated torque under rated voltage are give in table 3.
9. The moment of inertia Jm, open-circuit voltage, no-load current and weight of motor are shown in table
