Application:
    The magnetic ore separator is an efficient magnetic separation equipment that can be used for wet dressing of the following ores such as magnetite, ilmenite, baked pig iron, orpiment iron ore etc of sizes less than 3mm, and for the separation of wolframite, manganese ore, kaolinite and rare earth ore.
Working principles:
    With the help of magnetic force and mechanical force, the ore granules are separated. Granules of different magnetism move on different tracks and in this way different products are produced. Ore pulp flow to cell body through feeding box, and under the influence of water stream, the ore granules are loosely covering the feeding zone. In the magnetic field, magnetic granules get together to be groups or chains. Affected by magnetic force in the ore pulp, they move towards the magnetic pole and are attracted by the cylinder. The polarity ranks in turn with cylinder’s direction and is fixed when working. As the group or the chain revolves with the cylinder, non magnetic ore like matrix split away off and, final magnetic group or chain attracted to the surface of cylinder become concentrate. Then the concentrates reach to the weak magnetic zone with the revolving of cylinder, and are dumped to the concentrate trough due to the water stream. If they are fully magnetic, they are dumped by brush roll. If not, they stay in the ore pulp and are dumped in the concentrate trough and finally become tailings to be discharged. For the tailings, they could be screened again with other separating device.
