Turbocharger bearings include deep groove ball bearings, cylindrical roller bearings; double-duplex paired matching angular contact ball bearings and special double-duplex paired matching angular contact ball bearings. Deep groove ball bearings and cylindrical roller bearings mainly take radial load in high limiting speed. Double-duplex paired matching angular contact ball bearings can support both radial and axial loads simultaneously with little axial displacement.
For higher speed and heavier load applications, Alloyed steel retainers with specially-treated surface maybe adopted.
