YD series pole-changing multi-speed induction motors alter its speed through changing the way of joining and the number of poles. It is known for its small bulk, light weight, low noise, excellent starting performance, reliable operation, easy maintenance and so on. It is widely used on equipment in need of speed regulation. It has compact structure and saves more energy. The operating conditions, foot-mounting dimensions are the same with those of Y series motors. Its foot-mounting arrangements are IMB3, IMB5, IMB35, IMV1, etc.
