Indication:

For treatment of livestock’s Nematode, acariasis disease and other parasitic mites insect disease 

For dogs: Intestinal nematodes, ear mite, sarcoptic mite, Heartworms

For poultry: Gastrointestinal nematodes and ectoparasite.,

 

Appearance

Colorless or almost colorless, liquid, slightly viscous.

 

Properties:

Ivermectin can well eliminate the In vivo parasite(internal nematode and arthropod).

Ivermectin is widely used in killing Gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworm and Parasitic insects arthropods of horse, cattle, sheep and swine.

 

Administration & Dosage: hypodermic injection;

(each time)   for 1kg of body weight

Cattle, sheep: 0.2mg

Swine: 0.3mg

 

Adverse effect:

(1)    24 hours after using on horse, there will be anaphylaxis caused by the dead Onchocerca volvulus.

Such as Edema and itching around the entrimeson.

(2)    While used for Cowhide flies disease, there could be serious adverse effect(as the larva is at the key position of body)

(3)    For killing microfilaria, dogs may have shocks which related to the dead microfilaria.

(4)    Poultry may appear death, sleepy or inappetence

(5)    While injection, there maybe Discomfort or temporary edema on the injected part.

 

Precaution

(1)Hypodermic injection only, since intramuscular, intravenous injection may cause toxic reaction. Amount for each injection point should be below 10ml.

(2) Ivermectin injection containing Glycerol Formal and Propanediol can only be used on cattle, sheep, swine and reindeer. There may be serious partial reaction if used on other animals, especially dogs.

(3) Ivermectin is available to most of dogs except collie who is quite sensitive to this products. Dosage of more than 0.1mg/kg could cause serious adverse effect, forbidden to use.

(4)  Ivermectin is toxic to most shrimp, fish and other aquatic animal. Be cautious about the package with drug remains, it could pollute the water source.

 

Withdrawal period: Cattle, sheep 21days, swine 20days or 20 days before weaning period.

Validity:1.5 years

Storage: store in shading, airtight and cool place.
