Magnesia brick is a kind of alkalescency refractory bri ck that made from the sintered magnesium with its content of 87% and that are combined with silicate.Since its combination composition is mainly CMS-M2S system,its load softening temperature is low and thermal shock resistence is poor that determine its applicaiton is few.But magnesia brick is widely sued in the furnaces and kilns that have alkaline atmosphere.The essential properties of magnesia brick depengs on the nature of the raw materials,the mineral composition,microstructure and closely on the density of the products.
According to the physical and chemical index,we have the following products.
It os mainly used for wall ang bottom of EAF,which parts need the good resistence to slag.Much higher of the density,lower porosity,smaller diameters of the porosity,much higher corrosion resistence will be bricks have.
