Waste Neutralizing & Clear Water Recycling
□ This waste waters treatment plant is capable to neutralize all spent waste liquors
produced in this galvanizing pretreatment line while is also capable of recycling
almost fully, the rinsing wa-ters back to the rinsing tank. The treatment is based
upon the following principle:
● Mixing and homogenizing the spent acid with the rinsing waters,
● Neutralizing them with lime milk,
● Oxidizing them with bubbled air,
● Settling them to separate the solid sludge from the cleared water,
● Filtering the sludge, to produce “semi-solid cakes”,
● Correcting the final pH of the cleared water,
● Recycling the cleared water to the rinsing tanks.
