AKJ sight glass is used to indicate: 1, the condition of the refrigerant in the plant liquid 2.the moisture content in the refrigerant, 3. the flow in the oil return line from the oil separator. The AKJ is fitted with an indicator which changes color to show the moisture content in the refrigerant, the moisture indicators in the sight glasses dirt repelling

1.       indicates too high water contents in the refrigeration system

2.       indication of lack of sub-cooling

3.       indication of refrigerant deficiency

4.       flare or solder connection

5.       for CFC, HCFC. And HFC refrigerants
