The pressure test pump is fixed on the cover of water tank below which there are four rollers that facilitate the motion of the pump. The motor and reduction box are joined by two semi-couplers. The velocity ratio between the worm-gear shaft and worm gear in the reduction box is 2:55. At both ends of the worm shaft, eccentric shafts at an angle of 180°C to each other turn the rotational motion into the reciprocating motion of the slide block and crosshead through the slide mechanism in the gearbox at both ends. The plunger on the crosshead moves reciprocally in the water reservoir, thus effecting the alternate suction and expulsion by the pump.Under the reciprocation of the plunger, the working volume in the two water reservoirs changes cyclically. When the plunger enters the suction travel the delivery valve s closed. With the increased working volume of the water reservoir, vacuum is created in the reservoir and the working media in the reservoir via the filter screen, intake pope and valve (pushed up). When the plunger enters the repulsion travel, the intake valve is closed and the delivery valve is forced to be open. The plunger sends working media to the water collector through the delivery valve, which is fed into the container to be tested for hydraulic test.
The water collector is the control hub of the pump and serves as the controller, measurer and protector. In the collector are mounted a cut-off-valve, safety valve, delivery valve and working joints to the output tube, on which a pressure gauge is fixed.
The cut-off valve is the control device for the pump and container to be tested. when the valve of hydraulic test pressure is reached, this valve should be closed and the unit suspended for dwelling inspection and test. After the
