Features:
1. The other name of Butterfly check valve is wafer type check valve. It is energy-saving product.
2. It is small in size, light in weight and of compact structure and easy maintenance. The disc is dual-type and can close by itself quickly under the action of spring torque, avoiding back flow and water hammer. It is good at avoiding back flow, also some other features, such as small resistance coefficient, zero leakage when water pressure testing, complete sealing, vertical and horizontal installation.
3. Long service life, excellent sealing property and no need of frequent maintenance.
4. The flow behavior of check valve s is 3 times of globe valve and 75% of gate valve. It can cut off and regulate the media in pipeline and it is multi-function compared to gate valve and globe valve. The various selection of trim and seat materials brings wide application of check valve in chemical industry.
5. Butterfly check valve is small in size, for example, for 10” check valve, it is 1/9 weight and 1/6 volume of gate valve, so easy installation and system cost saving. Compared to hard seal gate valve and globe valve, the soft seal check valve can achieve complete sealing. It is easy to operate the check valve. The valve can be opened and closed in 90°rotary range. For the same size, the price of check valve is 30-40% of gate valve and lower installation fee for check valve. Correctly installed check valve is of some self-cleaning functions, so not easy to lose efficacy caused by impurity in pipeline.
