1.Materials:Germanium(Ge),sapphire,silicon(Si),zinc selenide(ZnSe),zinc sulfide(ZnS),CaF2,MgF2,BaF2,IR fused silica
2.Applications: camera,FTIR spectroscopy,QCL layer,scanner,LED lighting,image sensor,medical instruments,detetor applications,laser ambulator,fingerprint identifying,thermal imaging,laser focusing etc.

The infrared spectra is nearly between 0.7 to 14 micra,which can be devide to three smaller spectra,Near infra-red(NIR)0.7~2 micra,Middle Infra-red(MIR) 3~5 Micra,Far infra-red(FIR) 8~14 micra.Infrared lenses are designed to deal with infrared spectra.Usually,we applied some special material as substrates and AR coatings to promote its performance.
