This product is extracted from the whole herb of Hypericum L. which sourcing from the provinces of Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Guizhou,etc.

The raw material containing flavonoid glycosides-Hyperoside and a kind of anthraquinone glucoside-Hypericum anthraquinone glucoside (4,5,7-6 Hydroxy-2,2-MethylphenyIdianthone) and Pseudohyperin,rutin and volatile oils. There is a polyunsaturated resin (a new antibacterial element) sourcing from roots, stems,leaves, flowers and fruits, especially in the fruits. And the character of whole herb is mild, acrid and bitter, having the good effects for cleanup heat detoxifcation, and for hemostasia & adjusting menstruation.
