The Continuous Casting Machine is used to product slab, billet and small billet. Pouring the molten steel produced by converter or electric furnace into the mould continually as the raw material of the steel. The equipment is normally called continuous caster machine or CCM.
It can be divided into the following according to the casting section:
Square billet: 90 mm& times; 90mm - 200 mm& times; 200 mm
Small square billet: 200 mm& times; 200mm- 350 mm& times; 470 m
Round billet: 120mm - 450mm
Plate billet: 150 mm& times; 450 mm - 250 mm& times; 1600 mm
Beam blank: 292 mm& times; 205 mm& times; 85 mm - 430 mm& times; 300 mm& times; 85 mm.
