PVDF is a highly crystalline thermoplastic with good mechanical, thermal and electrical properties. As a fluoroplastic, PVDF has excellent chemical resistance without the disadvantages of low mechanical values or difficult machinability of other fluorplastics. PVDF it is not sensitive to radiation, and it is physiologically harmless. PVDF can be welded and machined and is used in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food handling industries.
