Features & applications: Directly used for applications that do not require any formability beyond very limited bending and/or roll forming. It is supplied directly off the cold-reduction mill without any annealing to soften the steel. Thus, the steel is highly work-hardened, and exhibits a high resistance to denting, etc., but at the same time, it exhibits only minimal ductility. It’s also substrate of GI, GL, PPGI, PPGL.
