Road mesh is used in major repairs of the pavement and the reconstruction of highway (Fig. 3). Road mesh used in new road construction increases the bearing capacity of pavement, especially on soft ground and prevents rutting and cracking. Depth of the grid road mesh may vary depending on the requirements for the quality of road surface, road geometric characteristics of the layers. However, in any case, it is recommended to lay a grid road mesh between asphalt and bituminous layers.

 
The grid is made of steel wire and double torsion with a mesh size 60x80mm,80x100mm,100x120mm,120x150mm. The woven mesh wire diameter: 2.0mm~4.0mm, and the reinforcement wire diameter: 4.0mm~5.0mm
