Magnesium is an active element, magnesium alloy oxidizes easily at high temperature.In a variety of high ＆alue-added magnesium alloy products production processes, the magnesium alloy purification is essential step. Since the magnesium alloy melt will be reacting rapid with all the generated lower free energy oxide (such as silica, alumina) than MgO to form harmful inclusions. So ceramic foams of applying to aluminium alloy, casting iron can not be used to filter magnesium alloy melt.
MgO ceramic foam is originated firstly by our company, the company can not only provide customer for conventional size of MgO ceramic foam ,but also can provide large size, high-strength MgO ceramic foam filter material and filter equipment which are used in the high-volume melt purification of magnesium alloy section.
