1,           Brief introduction
Y2 series, manufactured as per JB/T86801-1998 Standard , with the shell protection and cooling mode IC411, is the small 3-phase asynchronous squirrel-cage motors.
Application of Y2 series motor requires the following conditions
Ambient air temp : Varies with seasons while the highest is not exceeding 400C.
Frequency :50HZ
Voltage : 380V
Connection :Y connection for 3KW and lower,and △ connection for 4KW and higher Working set :S1(consecutively)
The temperature rise limit value of the stator windly (resistance method) is lower than 80℃((B class) /105℃(F Class)

3.Operation
3.1.Before installation ,users should check the data loaded on the nameplate and measure the insulation resistance with 500V insulation resistance meter ,the value should not be lower than 0.38MΩ,otherwise the stator winding should be dried in a temperature lower than 120℃
3.2.The motor is allowed to rotate with coupling ,spur gear and belt gear.But the 2-pole motor with 4KW or higher and 4-pole motor with 30KW or higher should not use belt gear.For the fan terminal of two-shaft extension motor ,only coupling mode is allowed .
 
3.3. For the extension of standing motor,only the belt gear (or like the common belt gear load ),ratherer than other bearing load devices is allowed .
 
3.4.The installation of motor demands the good ventilation and cooling .
 
3.5.The motor should be well grounded ,and the grounding devices are on the right inside the junction box .
 
3.6.Connect according to requirements of the nameplate
 
3.7.When the power phase A,B,and C correspond respectively to the ground poles U1,V1 and W1,the rotation of motor from the direction of extension terminal of main bearing is considered as clockwise ,if the phase sequence changes ,the rotation of the motor is opposite to the original .
 
3.8.The motor allows full-voltage starting or decreased-voltage starting (with reactor or Y-△ starter),but it should be noted that the rated current in the full-voltage starting is 5 to 7 times higher and that the rotation distance forms direct ratio to the square of voltage in the decreased-pressure.
 
3.9.Normally ,the motor should have heat protection and short circuit protection devices ,And the setting values of the protection devices should be adjusted according to the nameplate .
 
3.10.When the deviation between the power frequency and the value on nameplate is over 1% or the voltage deviation is over 5% ,the motor can not guarantee the consecutive output of rated power ,and the motor in consecutive working is not allowed to be overloaded .
 
4.Maintenance
4.1.Keep the motor dry in the using convironment ,the motor appearance should keep clear ,the ventilator should keep from dust ,fibre and so on .
 
4.2.When heat protection and short circuit protection devices occur some movement on the motor ,please check whether the breakdown is from the motor or overload or lower of the setting values of the protection devices ,after trouble-shooting , then could let the motor run .
 
4.3.Keep good lubrication during the running of motor
The vibration and noise of motors will increase obviously after running for about 5,000 hours .Check the radial internal clearance of bearing .When it reaches the values in the following table ,the bearing should be changed immediately
 
4.4.Keep the motor dry during storage and transportation and avoid sharp changes of ambient environment termperature and the incline or inversion of the motor
 
Standard motors operate at up to 1000 meters altitude and down to -15 deg C ambient temperature, but special motors can be made to operate below -15 degC and higher than 1000 meters.standard motors have IP54 protection, but special motors can be made with higher protection class
