Basic principle of cassava starch extraction:

Cassava starch processing is a physical separation process which makes the starch separated from the cellulose, protein, inorganic salt and other material in the cassava raw materials. Because of starch is not soluble in cold water and has different specific gravity with water, special machinery equipments and water can be used for separating starch from starch slurry, and finally achieving the purpose of recycling starch.

Process flow:

Starch production process is designed for six sections which are　cleaning – pulverizing – screening – concentrating and refining - dehydration - drying.

The cassava starch production line of Junyu adopts wet process in the production process, with mature and reasonable technology, advanced equipments, scientific distribution and without any additives through the whole process.

Specially, the equipment which is used for the pulverizing section and screening section gains a national patent of China. This device is named “curved mesh extrusion pulverizing machine”. Advantages: unique technique of multistage crush, multistage filters, multilevel extrusion in circulation; low energy consumption, high starch extraction yield, good quality of output starch.

Calculation is based on the dry starch output.
