Test principle
Immunocapture technique is used in this kit.Monoclon antibody to human IgM is coated
on nitrocellulose filter (NC filter). Colloid gold conjugated with cytomegalovirus antigen is
used as tracer. When tested serum sample is put on NC filter, IgM antibody to
cytomegalovirus (CMV) in the sample binds cytomegalovirus antigen conjugated with
colloid gold and monoclon antibody to human IgM, and compound is formed on NC
filter which is showed up as a prunosus strap.
