IMD( In-Mold Decoration), it is a technology to put the printed
membrane into metal mould, then put resin into the mould to contact with the membrane, they would be solidified into a finished product. IMD is one of the most popular international surface decoration technology, it contains harden transparent membrane on the product’s surface, the printed pattern parts and injection parts on the reverse side, it makes the product wear-resisting, prevents the products from scratching, and retains color of the products.
 IMD is widely used in decorating home appliance’s surface and functional panel, including; the case of mobile phone, the control panel of washing machine, refrigerator, air-conditioner, automobile, rice cooker and so on.
   The IMD process:
cutting material -> heat setting -> cutting small material -> punching positioning -> Printing -> cure -> semi-finished products check -> Protective Film ->drilling holes-> Punching -> Forming -> injection molding-> test -> Protective Film -> repair the gate -> semi-finished products inspection -> lamination -> finished product testing -> Protective Film -> packaging
