Performance Characteristics:
With high level hardenability and toughness, fully hardenable in all dimensions by oil and air, extremely wear resistance, high impact and compression strength, low distorsion, high polishability, suitable for polishing, texturing, EDM machining and repeated impacts and strong pressures in service.
Applications:
Highly stressed blanking dies up to 12 mm sheet thickness, highly stressed pressing and injection moulds, coining tools, cutlery presses and stamping dies, cold shear blades for thickest cutting materials, dies for jewellery, chasings, plastic moulds, shredder knives, embossing tools, big master hobs.

Annealing : 610 - 650 °C
Hardness after annealing : Max. 260 HB
Stress relieving : Approx. 650 °C
Hot forming : 1050 - 850 °C

Quenching media : Oil, Salt bath ( 300 - 400 °C ), Air
Hardness after quenching : 54 - 58 HRC Oil, Salt bath
53 - 57 HRC Air
