1) High speed floating bearing and metal face seal Floating bearing and metal face seal design suitable for high RPM are used. Floating bearing can reduce relative linear speed and decrease temperature build-up on frictional surfaces, so the service life and reliability of the bit are improved when drilling under high RPM conditions.
2) Carbide inserts gage protection on head OD Whole area of head OD are designed with carbide inserts of high density layout and various exposure height to protect the shirttail and seal to effectively improve the bit's ability to prevent diameter shrinkage.
3) Hardfacing on shirttail This feature can provide better protection for seal and bearing to extend the bit's service life.
4) Center nozzle Center nozzle can avoid bit balling, eliminate fluid stagnant area at bottom hole, increase rising velocity of drilling cuttings, and improve ROP
