Beam fabricating gantry crane is a general type of gantry crane which is widely used in bridge engineering of passenger high-speed railway. This type of crane could be used to lift and move beams in processes of lowering beams down from production platform and in processes of moving beams up on to flat beams car conveniently. It could also lift beams onto bridge piers directly when its legs are lengthened. There are several models such as 450t, 225t types and so on. Two sets of crane are combined to move beams or to lift beams or to install beams.

This type of gantry crane is composed by load bearing steel structure, lift trolley, crane travel mechanism and electrical control system. The steel structure material is high strength low alloy steel. Lift mechanism is composed by winding system through ratio pulley. The triad driven crane travel mechanism is composed by inverter motor and cycloidal pin-wheel reducer. The electric system control is through PLC. This type of crane has beautiful outlook, each component is independent that can be easily and quickly assembled as well as disassembled.
