General
Airflex is the highly flexible, closed-cell insulation material based on elastomeric foam defined by extremely high water vapor resistance factor and an extremely low thermal conductivity, which prevents long –term energy losses and water vapor ingress and reduces the risk of under insulation corrosion. Its unique micro-CLOSED-cell structure makes the insulation material easy to install.
Airflex is the ideal insulation material for HVAC﹠Refrigeration systems in environments where highest levels of moisture control, hygiene and indoor air quality (IAQ) are required such as processes industries or public buildings, especially for those condensation prevention and energy loss limitation where pipes and ducts, chillers and air conditioning equipment.
