Type MG & MGH gravel pump is designed to provide continuous pumping of highly abrasive slurries containing large particles at high maintained efficiencies with low maintenance and ownership costs. The pumps are suitable for delivering slurries in mining, metal smelting, dredging and other industries. The MGH range is similar in construction to MG types, but features larger impeller diameters than the MG range and incorporates a heavily reinforced casing design to allow pumping of heads up to 80 meters. Typically used in dredging applications where long discharge distances are required. Some models are available with higher pressure rating suitable for applications such as multi-staging.
