Jingmin Digital 4D theater control software – the edit end manual

1. JMDM-4D dynamic cinema control software has two parts: edit-end (JMDM-4Dfilm editor) and client-end (JMDM-4Dfilm player). Coordinate of JMDM series of many types industrial 4D seat special effect equipment to use , consist of JMDM 4D cinemas seat special equipment control system. One set of system configuration: one editor and one player software opening jurisdiction. Usually match one Dog used to open the editor and the player software. Can also according to the customer requirements add one, that is one Dog used to open editor soft-ware and the other one is to open player software.

Please run the drive install program (DogInst.exe) which supplied by our company at the first use, click install after the program running.

  If the players double clicked with no response after the drive installed, please install MSCOMM32 again; if it is present a inefficient port number, just change the com5 of the file config.ini into the port using in the computer. (Examine methods of the com port: the right button of' my computer → equipment manager → port).

It must insert the Dog No matter running the JMDM-4D special effect edit-end or the client-end software, otherwise the program can not running; and cannot pull out the Dog when the program running.

4, Edit software and player software and operation explanations

Divided into two categories according to the cylinder:

They are: cylinder with electronic scale, cylinder without electronic scale.

Choose the controller according to the difference of the hardware and software.

It must insert the Dog when running the JMDM-4D special effect edit-end play software, otherwise the program can not running; and cannot pull out the Dog when the program running.

3-2 The function of each button as follows

1.  Open File button: Choose the movie file which needs to edit motion in the popup dialogue box.

2.  Play/Pause Button: Can play or pause film playing, add motion only in the pause state.

3.  Previous Step/Next Step: Can forward or backward to the position of 0.1 second.

4. Button: Click the button and Pop-up action add successfully means complete the action of the time (The input frame data corresponding to the cylinder position, tick expressed the line open. No tick expressed Close)

5. The previous motion can skip to the front motion

6.  The next motion can skip to the front motion

7. Button; Click Go to jump to the time point of the input box. The unit is second

8. Button: If all actions are finished editing, click Save action can automatically saved action file to the movie catalog (the action file * jm proposed to add more than a dozen action and then save the action, after saving, the program will automatically add the reset action behind the action file)

It can set the cylinder position quickly.
Click the Reset check box, 6 cylinders all become to 20(which can be manually set to 0, but the recommended minimum set to 20)

Click the cylinder 1 to 6 check box, the data in front of the radio button will automatically fill in the corresponding cylinders input box

 1). button: Open the movies, which require automatic acquisition action

2) /button: Pause/continue acquisition action

Accuracy: You can set how much time is collected once, the unit is milliseconds, the default collection once every 100 milliseconds,.

Forward: the feeling acquisition slower than the screen can be collected by action as a whole forward, forward is best not more than 300 ms.

Filter: Set the action filter out the size, the default is 10. Can filter out some data to make the action more concise, but the action is too small may affect the effect.

Attention: If you want to adjust the data before starting collecting or click the completion of the acquisition, (you can click Pause acquisition, adjusted, and then click to complete the acquisition).

The latest increases of supporting the long-3D file acquisition, but the action should not be too much. 2. Clickbutton, to pause the movie.

           

3.  in the position of 1.0 seconds to make the cylinder 1 up to the position of 200.

 a. clickor to the position of 1.0s,or in the edit box enter 1.0 and click  can jump to 1.0 seconds

Method 1: manually enter 200 in a cylinder input box

Method 2: Select the radio button of 200, and then click the cylinders C1 check box

c. click  Add actions to complete the action of 1.0 seconds

4. in the position of 2.0 seconds to make the cylinder 1 get to 100, cylinder 2 to 200.

a. Clickto 2.0s, or in the input box enter 2.0 and click

Method 2: Select the radio button 100, and then click the cylinders C1 check box box
Select the radio button 200, and then click the cylinders C2 check box

c. Clickadd action

5. in the position of 3.0 seconds to make the cylinder 1 get to 20, cylinder 2 to 20, cylinder 3 to 20, and smoke.

a. Clickin the position of 3.0s, or input 3.0 in the input box and then click

 

   Click the Reset check box, click the check box of smoke in front of check mark

c. Clickto add action

6. in the position of 4.0 seconds to make the cylinder 1 get to 200, cylinder 2 to 200, stop the smoke effects.

a. click in the position of 4.0s,or enter 4.0 in the input box and then click

b. Setting in figure

 Cylinder1 input 200, cylinder 2 input 200, click the check box in front of smoke to remove the tick

c. Click  to add actions.

7. Repeat the above steps to complete the action edit, clickto save the action.

The filename of the action file is iceberg adventure. jm and the iceberg adventure. xls. The xls file just convenience for the editors to check the action. Actually you only need to give customers the jm files and movie files.

8. Actions are have finished editing, you can send the active document to the customer. The movie file and action file name must be the same and put in the same directory. For example: D: \ 4D \ iceberg adventure. avi and D: \ 4D \ iceberg adventure. jm. (If the customer has the same movie only need to send the active document to him)

Open the movie and read the action successfully, you can press, and watch the action, if you pick up the seats and special effects, the seat will be followed by action. Then you can easily modify and add, delete action.

If it feels wrong or the range of motion is unreasonable, can directly modify the action, such as: 2.0 seconds at a cylinder-1 100, cylinder-2 200 would like to change directly into cylinder-1 0 to cylinder 200, and then add the action. Click Save or save after the modifications are complete.

 For instance have action in the 3.0 seconds and the 4.0 seconds, would like to add an action in the middle of 3.5 seconds.

Can pressto Skip to 3.0 seconds, and then pressto 3.5 seconds, or pressto skip to 3.5s. And then modify the desired action. Click Save action or preservation after the completion of modifies. So that the action of 3.5 seconds to add successfully.

When an action is superfluous, you can skip to the action and click Save action or preservation after the completion of modifies. And the action has been deleted.

ID: the serial number of the action.
Time: The movie time corresponding to the action.
C1-C6: the action of 6 cylinders 000 is the lowest and 250 is highest.

The last eight column: 8 effects of the action, one for open, 0 for off, how long open it depends on the action and the mistiming of the next action, such as: The above ID3 action, the film placed in 3.0 seconds, smoke for 1(open ) Open, to id4 action smoke for 0 (off), open time for 1 second.

By modifying xls spreadsheet file to modify:
Cylinder data from 000 to 250

Speed ??data is 000-100,
Effects data is 0 or 1 (0 for off, 1 for open.)
Note: During modification the front of the comma 'cannot be removed.

After modifications saved the forms

Open the edit-end, just click the read xls buttons -> select the modified action form

3. Prompted to read successfully and saved successfully, so the action has been modified

  

3-5 Test action

After editing the action, you can test and view the actions

1. Re-open the software; add movies (action file will automatically read)

3. Observing the player, if to the corresponding time there is action, cylinder edit box displays the cylinder position of command, on the front of the effects will automatically tick.

4. Can also pause to play the movie, click, and skip directly to the next action, and display the action.

Added: If found that some movie play without picture but with voice and display time, the computer without such format decode, Can download "ultimate decoder", after installation can play normally. (set by default)

4. Double projector settings

To set into a projection mode, have to be connected to two monitor or projector

Method 1: Stereoscopic Player settings

The‘Stereoscopic Player’ player can be set into a dual output mode, as the following chart:

Use the ‘Stereoscopic Player’ player; for example, open left-right format videos at the first time will pop-up a dialog box to select the format, Choose the level of side-by-side mode (the player has not left-right of two pictures), then set according to the above column, full-screen viewing to a three-dimensional effect.

If the movie is displayed as red and blue format, click the above SSP's eyes

Method 2: NVIDIA Settings (under Windows XP)

If playing no coincidence after the projector connected, can be set as the following steps

1. Right key on the desktop, select NVIDIA control panel (N graphics), if there is no NVIDIA control panel you can upgrade the graphics card driver.

2. Select set multiple monitors, and selected horizontal translation model (some of the card has not horizontal translation mode, can choose as follows)

3. If there is no stereo effect after set up, it is the resolution did not adjust well.

In the NVIDIA control panel to find resolution options, choose from the options lowest resolution began to set one by one, until the emergence of the stereo effect.

The two projectors is directly connected with two port of the independent graphics, display about right-left pictures with a ghost at the same time in this method.

Demerit: The user to see the operation interface, when does not play a movie, the picture has a double image so you will be dizzy after wearing glasses.

2. Method 2

In the graphics port 1 connected with a switcher.

This method divides into two kinds of situations:

a. The switchers without manually switching function: monitors and projectors always display the same screen, above the screen also shows the left and right screen with ghosting.

b. The switchers with manually switching function: Only one of the Monitor and the projector can use to display pictures (the monitor display, projector 1 have no signal, and press the switch button is no signal display but the projector 1 have pictures), you can control the screen to show only the right side of the screen

Merit: the customers cannot see the operations interface of the theater

Demerit: need to manually switch the screen

 

Using three graphics interface on the computer. In this connection customers cannot see the user interface, after full screen, the SSP automatically skip to the screens, the display shows the SSP menus and the progress bar.

Merit: Hidden background operation, simple to operate.

Note: 1.Must to put action file and the movie file sent by the developer in the same list.

2. The film path cannot contain spaces, recommend all movies and action file put in the same folder. For example: D: \ MOVI

3. The first start default by COM1 ports, if invalid port number, can set the button to modify the port, prompting to save after successful Re-open the player. Or modify the C: \ config.ini file [port] m_comName = COM1 for the correct port

4. Left and right separation file name must have only L and R are not the same. Such as the formats a_l.avi and a_r.avi, a_l.jm. The edit action of open a_l.avi to edit (left film)

5. Because sometimes the SSP player starts slow, there will be time synchronization problem. You can start after press stop key and then play.

6. If it is found that some of the film played no picture but there are sound and display time, shows that the computer without such format decoder. Can download the "ultimate decoder", will be played normally after the installation.(set by default)
