RSBJ-550 is designed for use on non-pressurized cables with polyethylene and metal sheath. It has a high degree of protection against cracking and it is convenient in use. Both straight and branched (max 3 in or out cables) closures can be installed. The closure is suitable for aerial and ducted applications, applications on polyethylene or lead sheathed cable in sizes up to 2000 pairs.

RSBJ-550 is made from high quality hot-melt adhesives and fiber-reinforcing heat shrinkable sleeves. It ensures high mechanical endurance during installation and afterwards. An integrated metal layer, which shrinks together with the sleeve, protects the splice from moisture.
