Project Descriptions:
The 900,000 tons of Ethylene Project was jointly invested by China Petro-Chemical, SINOPEC Shanghai Petro-Chemical and BP (UK). The total investment is about 274.8 million USD. It is one of the deives with largest ethylene production capacity of single production line, meanwhile, it stands one of the largest Petro-Chemical Projects invested by both Chinese and Foreign capitals.

With an investment of about $ 2.7 billion, Shanghai SECCO Petrochemical Company Limited was founded by China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation (Sinopec Corp.), Shanghai Petrochemical Company Limited (SPC) and BP East China Investment Company Limited . It is by far one of the largest petrochemical projects of joint venture in China.

The 900 ktpa ethylene plant is by far one of the one-piece facilities that have the highest production capacity in the world. Huaxing started to supply steel for this new plant project in 2003. By end of 2004, the total weight of steel supplied by Huaxing exceeded 20,000 Tons.
