Rotary Piston Pump 1 ml or 5 ml rotary piston pump, made with 316 L stainless steel, also called dosing pump. Dosing pumps must be cleaned daily and before and after any longer shut-down. This prevents deposits from crystallizing products in the cylinder and on the piston. Rotary piston pumps are extremely sensitive to impact. Utmost care and cautious handling are therefore essential to prevent damage to the pumps. Only matching cylinders, pump bases and pistons marked with the same number may be put together.
The pumps must be taken apart for storage and kept in a container or cupboard which can be closed. This is essential to keep the pumps clean. We recommend making a storage box out of wood or plastic in which the parts(pistons and cylinders) are stored individually so that they do not damage eachOther during transport. If a metal box is used, the surfaces supporting the pumps should be padded with foam, rubber or similar material.
