Application Situation of Ceramic Proppant in the Oil and Gas Wells

Oil fracturing proppant is a vital material used in the fracturing operations of oil and gas low permeable wells. In the
fracturing operations of deep wells, ceramic proppants are filled in the rock cracks of low permeable mineral deposits
under the circumstance of high pressure to have a high closed fracturing process and then spill apart the oil and gas
terrane. The non closed function of supporting fracturing cracks not only increases oil production and also extends the
service life of oil and gas wells.

Therefore, fracturing technology plays a significant role in global oil exploitation. However, the usage of oil fracturing
proppants directly affects successful operation of fracturing technology because high quality proppant is crucial in the
oil exploitation.
