LK88C Easyclean Impregnation Sealant( Loctite 88C resinol equivalent)
Single component, low viscosity and permeability, thermal curing at 88 °C, excellent stability.
It is used to create leak proof parts, improving machinability, in addition to increasing the durability and surface quality. The hardened resins exhibit superior chemical resistance and elevated temperature stability. The microscopic voids, where potential leaks occur in the part are filled by the low viscosity resin during vacuum application. Sealed micropores cure without shrinkage to form tough cross-linked thermoset polymer, permanently sealing the workpiece.

Applied to repair micropore for aluminum die castings of automotive and combustion engine.
