Properties: Sulphur hexafluoride is colorless, non-toxic, odorless, non-combustible and non-corrosive gas in normal conditions; good chemical stability; m.p. -50.8°C, b.p..
Use: Sulphur hexafluoride is an excellent inert insulating gas widely used in high-voltage electric equipments, ground cables, gases insulation for electronic equipments, radar, particle accelerator, transformer, lightning arresters, refrigerant etc. It is the third insulation and refrigeration medium for electronic industry after air and oil.
Storage: In cool, and ventilated storeshouse.
Transport: With symbols indicated in GB19-73. The coefficient of the filling cylinders should not higher than 1.33kg/L.
Packing: In seamless steel cylinder (40L, 12.5L, 10L, 8L, 4L) (Normally, when the pressure is 15MPa, the filling coefficient< 13.7kg/L.. )
