IDU Control Box/Satellite Receiver (12V power input)

The IDU is the control box which plugs into the ODU (the Out Door Unit – Dome) and connects to the set topbox. The IDU distributes the power and date to the ODU with the coaxial connecting cable and receives the satellite back from the ODU with the same cable. The IDU has the ability to select which satellite the ODU will search for.

 

The IDU has an LCD screen which can provide details of satellites and stages of acquiring the satellite.

 

Auto-Positioning & Auto power saving mode

 

The PAPSA mobile unit could find the signal for the satellite you have selected automatically. The unit will not take the power after been locked in the signal and it will be automatically turn power off the antenna system and only use set top box power for LNB.

 

 

§ GPS auto skew

The PASPA Mobile is special in which is has a GPS antenna built into the dome and this provides the unit with the geographical location of the vehicle. Then the Unit can select the best LNB skew and elevation angles for the geographical position and use the Skew Motor attached to the LNB. There is no need for fine tuning, it is all done by the Skew Motor automatically. Just select your satellite and press the set button and sit back and then relax.
