The spiral classifier/Separator is one of the most widely used mechanical classifying equipment , which is mainly used to grade the granules in the ore pulp during the technological process of metal ore washing and selecting . and it is also used to deslime and dehydrate in the washing work .

This spiral classifier/Separator has a simple structure, facilitates reliable working conditions, and is convenient to use. In operation, the fine ore flows in the water while the coarse ore sinks in the water. This is made possible because different grains have different sedimentation rates and different gravity. This makes them drop at different speeds. Filtering can be carried out and the coarse materials are sent to the feeding mouth while the fine materials are discharged by spiral pushing through the pipe.
