Appearance: White or almost white crystalline powder. Has a slight odor.

 

Pharmacology: This product is glycoside polyether ionophore antibiotic,which has the strongest anticoccidial effect and the lowest drug concentration,and thus it is widely used in anti-coccidiosis of chicken.The anticoccidail mechanism is to excited Na +, k + ,ATP of sporozoite so that concentration of Na + in sporozoite increases,leading to Cl + increases and make the sporozoite absorbent swelling and vacuolization.Coccidia has no osmotic pressure regulator so their osmotic pressure changes,resulting in poor growth.This product is effective in kiling sporpzpite,their first and second asexual generations and merozoites
