A glass capsule contains acrylate resin (vinyl ester), peroxide(hardening agent) and quartz particles. This type of system must be used with a chisel pointed anchor rod, which spin into it using a rotary electric drill. the components are mixed and combined when the anchor rod spinning into the capsule, they form an adhesive mortar which mechanically bonds the anchor rod to solid base material.
