Using NaY as the raw material, USY is made through such a series of processes as ammonium salt treatment, hydrothermal ultrastabilization and chemical dealumination and silicon reinsertion. It is not only an active component of catalytic cracking catalysts, but also a crucial active component in hydrocracking catalyst, through which high quality diesel, aviation kerosene and naphtha can be produced.
