Using NaY as the raw material, MREY is made through such a series of processes as rare earth treatment, ammonium salt treatment, hydrothermal ultrastabilization and chemical dealumination and silicon reinsertion. It is an active component for producing FCC catalyst with high activity and selectivity; also, it can be adopted in manufacturing hydrocracking catalyst.
