1. The Functions of The Multi-Functional Down-The-Hole Drill Rig

Multi-Functional Down-The-Hole Drill Rig (MFDTHDR) is a kind of rigs that may drill larger hole-diameters, and enchased with a cemented carbide bit; it can obtain long depth in a single hole. MFDTHR is mainly used for bore-holes drilled by diamond wire saw, such as vertical and horizontal holes cross-linking in order to run through diamond wire, as well as filling explosives to large rocks in mining, and peeling covered layers. Nowadays MFDTHDR are used in stone mining the most to drill run-through holes which pass through diamond wire for sawing stone work.

2. The Characteristics of The Multi-Functional Down-The-Hole Drill Rig

 1.) Such models are normally multi-purpose machines which have the function of drilling vertical, horizontal, tilted those three kinds of holes (i.e. multi-functional).

 2.) New models of the reducer, pneumatic-driven motor are circular shape designs which allow the rigs to closely meet ground during level operation.

 6.) It is usually configured with two different sizes of impactors which can be exchanged according to the needs in order to adopt requirements according to different calibers.  

 7.) Air distribution system has its independent operating platform, can go through long-distance operations in order to prevent effects on health brought by dusts.

 8.) Such models usually have water filtering devices; lubrication system is equipped with pressure gauge, safety valve, together ensuring the rigs have enduring and normal functions.
