Lithium Alginate is a kind of white to light yellow powder, almost odorless, tasteless and dissolved in water into a viscous colloidal solution. Lithium Alginate is insoluble in alcohol solution in which the alcohol content is larger than 30% (wt). It is insoluble in chloroform, ether and acid with a pH value lower than 3.
Usage:
Lithium Alginate is a natural polysaccharide extracted from kelp like brown seaweed, which is mainly used as adhesive and elasticizer in welding electrode coat.
