MTL Carbon/Graphite Raschig Rings offer long packing life and high efficiency for many corrosive and high temperature separations. These Rings are excellent for applications including: • Halogen acid processing • Hydrofluoric acid manufacturing • Phosphate fertilizer manufacturing • Sodium/potassium hydroxide scrubbers • Applications involving high thermal shock

FEATURES
Low coefficient of thermal expansion, resists damage caused by severe shocks.
May be used in most acids, alkalies and solvents. (Not recommended in highly oxidizing conditions.
Light weight and high mechanical strength with no soluble bond.
Long life packing with high temperature operating capabilities. Used in chlorine-hydrochloric mixtures and phosphoric acid.
Fully carbonized to eliminate extractable impurities.
