The working principles
The water or the steam is conveyed to top of tower dryer and stay on the top section. The coal is slowly down by gravity and exchanging with hot wind, so the water from the coal will be taken away by the strong wind. It will take two hours to dry coal.
Main applications
The water content usually is between 12-14% after the coal is produced, and will be decreased to 2-4% after tower dryer which can meet the demands on the storage. Moreover, it will be down to 1.5% after economic reform on above basis; therefore, the tower dryer is also applied to briquetting and coal bar or other particles.
Economic features
Compared to the normal dryer working in method of return discharging, the capital of the tower dryer saves 1/2 and its setting areas is 1/5-1/3, and the other expenses or cost also be decreased and slashed .
