PBO Endless Belt, withstanding up to 600C (1112F), is commonly used in the step-wise and parallel-moving cooling table of the first stage.
However, PBO Belt is not the necessity for every handling system. It becomes available only for those lines with large press and producing bigger irregular profiles. After the profile formed and out of the extrusion spout, cooled off through the initial area, the temperature is still quite high. Then from the run-out table to the pick-up, at this stage, Kevlar Endless Belt will quickly get worn and even burnt with the high temperature and quick abrasion. In such occasion, PBO Endless Belt becomes a better choice. There is five-layer Kevlar Scrim Base Fabric incorporated for belt to stand stronger stretch.
