These mixers are intended mainly for use in pharmaceutical industry to mix granules with lubricant and disintegrates prior to tablet making and in other industries to mix many kinds of material in the form of powder or granule.
Principles of Operation:
The mixer employs a container composed of two cines and a hollow cylinder with a baffle inside.
The two cones rotate about the axle at the middle of the cylindrical section, causing the materials in the container to tumble, gathering and dispersing alternately and repeatedly, so that uniform mixing is achieved.
Process of Operation:
Lift the inlet cover, pour in the materials to be mixed, return the cover to its original place properly, . Tighten the bolts, and close the safety door, start the machine and let the materials is the special structure of the two-cone mixer to gather, disperse, and penetrate into each other repeatedly for about 20~40 minutes to achieve uniform mixing. The machine is then stopped. Wait until the outlet is at the bottom and open the safety door. Place a bucket towards the outlet and turn the discharge valve to discharge the mixed materials into the bucket.
