Crystalline Flake Graphite is a crystalline carbon, natural non-metal mineral. It is iron oxide black or dark gray. It is soft and greasy. It belongs to hexagonal crystal system. It is foliaceous, scaly or compactly lump. It has density of 2.23, melting point of 3625 and hardness of 1.
Application: Cover one layer of crystalline flake graphite evenly on the surface of the melted copper to isolate from the air and avoid oxidation. The Crystalline flake graphite will always float on the melt surface, will not infiltrate or react with the melt or pollute the metal melt. The proper thickness of the layer is normally 12-15mm.
