The equipment adopts the advanced treatment technology, which can remove the iron and manganese ion in the water effectively, accordingly, meet the requirements of decoloration and deodoration to keep the water qualified. When ground water with iron and manganese flows through iron and manganese removal filter equipment, the early pretreatment aeration device and the oxidizer added would make the iron (manganese) ions oxidized, passes by the manganese sand filter material  layer, there is a further contact oxidation, in this way, water is filtered by under the biochemical action of filter material and multilayer filtration action of physical interception and adsorption, the iron and manganese ions would be settled gradually until removed.

Product features
1.     The unique multi-filtration room structure, which can realize online backflush (simultaneous filtration, pollution discharge and backflush).
2.     Electricity-saving: the effluent can be supplied to pipe network directly, no need of the secondary water supply system; it has the backflush function by itself, no need of backflush water pump.
3.     Water-saving: this equipment adopts the “quincunx water distributer”, the distance between filtration layer and water distributer is shorten, which can save a lot of water for backflush.

4.   Run parameters
①  Work-style: pressure type;
②  Run mode: water flow direction from the top to the bottom, series (high iron-manganese content) or parallel connection
③  Filtration speed: 6-10m/h ( iron removal ), 5-8m/h ( manganese removal);
④  Run cycle: depend on the raw water quality, the lowest must be more than or equal to 8-hour;
⑤  Backflush way: water scrubbing, or the combination of gas-water for back flush;
⑥  Backflush time: 10-15 min;
⑦  Backflushing water consumption: 1-3%
