Easy to produce white during the welding process, defects such as cracks, pore, cast iron welding on welding technology proficiency requirements are also higher. Cast iron welding can be preheated welding and cold welding two cast iron welding.
In order to ensure the effect of welding, welding of the following measures are recommended, for the information of different material and defects of casting welding reference and selection.
EZC-grey cast iron electrode:
EZC steel-cored graphitization in cast iron electrode can be AC, DC use. Add appropriate amount of graphite elements on cast iron Steel-cored electrode, weld slow cooling into grey cast iron, cooling speed, would produce white ,not easy to produce.Effect of cooling rate on the cutting and weld very large, because different from cold welding electrodes of operation ,the electrodes requires continuous welding, welding heat, weld slow cooling. Gray iron welded closed to the base material in welded joint,structure,properties and colors. Because of the poor plastic, no relaxation of welding stress, poor performance of thermal stress cracks.Small parts of stiffness of thin-walled parts defects may not be preheated welding and in General should be preheated to about 400 welding, slow cooling after welding, this prevents cracks and chill.
